Oh...and to answer your question on adding photos (took me a bit to figure it out too). Go to the Homepage and go down on the left side to Recent Photos. Click that and it'll take you to the Photo Gallery. In the top right corner is "Add Photos" click there, create your album and upload away! What you upload here also shows up under your person "Photos" tab. :-)

Over a week later...how are things going for you? We are starting to slow down a bit. The pups are better getting the idea of potty training and puppy training starts this Saturday, so that should help us some. They don't seem to know their names though. Not sure how to get them to though! LOL

Are you having problems with Koda's pottying? Kinzei's runny poo has never cleared up, even with additional worming meds from our vet, and Shelbei seems to have a bladder infection. We even switched up their food to Iams with no luck. The vet thinks there's some type of inner infection in both of them and they are now on antibiotics.

Other than that headache though, all is going well. They have adjusted very well to crate training and have so much fun playing together. Our 5yo daughter is finally figuring out that she needs to keep her toys out of their reach if she doesn't want them torn to pieces! LOL

I just uploaded some photos of my two. Kinzei is the sable/white and Shelbei is the black/white.

They have actually been doing pretty well on potty training. I worry so much that we are doing things wrong. We have them signed up for puppy classes at Petsmart and I'm also asking about if they are doing a potty training class (it's done only if trainer feels like it). It doesn't help that they still have the runny poo. Planning to take a sample to our vet so he can check it out.

Do you plan to put Koda (love the name, btw) in any training classes?

Is everything going smoothly for your friend and Gunner? That can't be easy him having to change homes like that.

So how is it going? Ours are driving us completely batty, but we are enjoying every minute of it...mostly! LOL

We've had our puppies since Friday morning and it has definitely been an adventure! They are so freaking cute together and they are constantly making us laugh.

One quick note I did want to let you know is they have had very runny poops. Orange, smelly...just nasty. Apparently it's from the de-worming meds, but just be prepared on your long car trip home because both mine still have that problem.

Good luck on your trip tomorrow! :-)

HA! Yeah, and they are awesome escape artists, so definitely watch out for that. Hubby spent a lot of time in our backyard puppy-proofing it. When we put the fence up, the space at the bottom or where the gates were was fine because our Huskies were adults, but puppies can get through the small spaces!

That is going to be a long drive...plan to put them in a crate for the drive or letting them run free? We're a little over an hour away and plan to put a crate in the back of my SUV and they will travel back there. If it was just one, probably would let run free, but with two...oh dear Lord, what are we getting ourselves into? ;-)

I have friends that have contacted Gunner's owner about adopting him and haven't heard back. Your best friend is probably why...LOL

Advice...well, they are one-of-a-kind dogs and I often tell people that they are not for everyone. Definitely read up on them and do your research...and I would highly recommend getting him into a training program. We have Kinzei and Shelbei signed up at Petsmart to start on 7/9. One of the first things you need to do is make sure your pup knows YOU are the dominate one...and training will definitely help with that.

When are you bringing yours home? We pick ours up tomorrow at 9am!!!
